I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill .
ReplyDeleteHeaps of religious would do exactly the same thing .If (pressed) on a TV program and asked in the heat of a moment what sort of percentage they would put on the likely hood of there being a god .
How about doing a blog about this?.
It seems he is admitting as a scientist he cannot yet show evidence to be 100% sure . 94,96,97% what does it really matter ? splitting hairs really isnt it ? .
What is being proved here that Dawkins is a atheist scientist or the quality of his public speaking abilitys ?.
Dawkins is no guru of mine but what is it that seems to make him seem such a worry to the religious .I wonder if Darwin at one stage got the same strange attention .
It does strike me as splitting hair, which is part of the reason why I would recommend that he simply stay away from quantifying his level of atheism.
ReplyDeleteWhat seems to make Prof. Dawkins such a worry to the religious is, I suppose, the fear that people will mistakenly accept his very many fallacious assertions.
